Veterans Oral History Project
Each year the Bell Tower Memorial coordinates several programs and events to honor our local Veterans. One such program is our Veteran Oral History Project, which pairs local high school students with local Veterans. These students interview their assigned Veteran to learn about their time in service. The interviews are recorded and submitted to the Library of Congress as part of the National Oral History Project. Over the years, we've heard dozens of stories from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Afghanistan Veterans, to name a few.
Additional Veteran Events
The Bell Tower Memorial strives to participate in Veteran and community focused events throughout the year including the Memorial Day parade and Pewaukee VFW Car Show, the Veterans Day assembly at Horizon Elementary School in Pewaukee, recognition at Mission BBQ in Brookfield, fundraising at Bubba's Custard, and so much more!
Honorary Memorial Bricks

Show your support for the Bell Tower Memorial by purchasing a brick inscribed with the name of a Veteran, first responder, loved one, or to recognize a company or organization. These bricks will create a walkway throughout the Community Memorial at Pewaukee Kiwanis Village Park.
